That is why Claus Connection was created: to bring individuals of all ages and families from different generations together to share in the beauty and spirit of Christmas. Our professionally trained and certified Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Cedar Valley and surrounding areas in Northeast Iowa, are dedicated to reigniting people’s festive cheer and spreading the magic of the holiday season to all.

About Claus Connection
While Claus Connection has been lovingly crafted by a single individual, we have flourished thanks to generous donations and support throughout the year. That is why we strive to continue providing a safe, memorable environment and services that embody the magic and true spirit of Christmas.
Our Humble Beginnings
In 2023, we began our first year by having our professionally trained and certified Santa and Mrs. Claus visit co-workers, family, neighbors, and friends for photographs. The following year enabled us to expand our horizons. Now, Claus Connection is excited to find a permanent home in Elk Run Heights, IA. Visitors can enjoy talking to and taking pictures with Santa on an antique sleigh at The Claus Connection Experience. They also have the opportunity to stroll through our Enchanted Forest, creating wonderful memories together.
The Claus Connection Experience
Nativity Scene
Our Nativity Scene portrays the true story of Christmas and Santa’s role within it. Before you head inside to Mrs. Claus’s reception parlour to warm up by the fire, be sure to stop and check how tall your little ones have grown by taking their picture next to our sign that reads, “The ornaments on the tree are here this year.” Compare each year’s photos to see just how much they’ve grown.
Nativity Scene
Step into a celebration where Santa’s cheer and the Nativity’s peace come together in one beautiful story — the true heart of Christmas. At the center of it all is Jesus, born in a humble manger, sent to bring hope, love, and light to the world. But what about Santa? He’s more than a jolly man in a red suit. He’s inspired by St. Nicholas, a real Christian who gave selflessly and secretly to others — quietly, generously, and from a heart that followed Jesus. Here, you’ll discover that Santa doesn’t replace Jesus — he reflects Him. Every gift, every laugh, every moment of joy points back to the greatest gift ever given. So whether you’re young or young at heart, The Claus Connection invites you to see how giving, wonder, and faith can live side by side, not in competition, but playing on the same team — and remind us all what Christmas is truly about.
Enchanted Forest
The wooded forest glimmers with warm, cozy white lights, setting a magical atmosphere. Take a moment to sit on one of the benches or chairs and admire the captivating trees. This serene setting is also perfect for family photoshoots or selfies. You might even spot Mrs. Claus, an elf, or a friendly reindeer nearby who can assist with taking your pictures.
Mrs. Claus's Reception Parlour
Everyone is welcome to visit Mrs. Claus’s reception parlour to warm up by the fire. You might find other families there, fostering a true sense of community. Take your time to meet others, enjoy cocoa and cookies, and perhaps participate in story time with Mrs. Claus.

Capturing Moments of Your Magical Visit
Parents are encouraged to take as many photos as they like during their family’s 30 to 45–minute visit at The Claus Connection Experience. We want you to cherish every moment shared with our professionally trained and certified Santa and Mrs. Claus. However, please keep stepping along and be aware that there are other patrons who are interested in taking pictures too. At Claus Connection we permit and encourage all who attend to take as many pictures as you would like without adding extra costs per picture so that we can keep prices low for you. We would appreciate you sending your favorite pictures to Mrs. Claus so that we may share the JOY of Claus Connection on our website. Please send them via email to 2clausconnection@gmail.com.
